Why You Get “This E-Mail Is Taken By Another Account” Error?
The reason may be so simple that you don’t realize. You may have opened an account on Instagram and given your e-mail address before. So, this message shows up on the screen.
In this case, you need to remember your password and if you find your password you can log in.
Otherwise, you can use the “Forgot My Password” option. Follow the steps to reset your Instagram password and create a new one.
Try to Reset Your Password
The second reason may be that someone has created an account using your e-mail.
- So, you can click “Forgot My Password,” follow the steps to reset your password.
- A verification mail will be sent to your e-mail address.
- Check your e-mail and follow the instructions to reset your password.
- Once you reset your password, log into Instagram.
- If you find out that isn’t your account and that was created by someone else, you can delete the account, change the e-mail address that was associated with the account.
- Once you do that, you can create a new account using your own e-mail address.
Use a Different E-Mail Address
